Butterfly Gardening in Michigan

Presented by?Betty Seagull

What do butterflies need to thrive? Food, water, and a place to live and reproduce, just like us. But with 95% of land in the lower 48 states in development, pollinators like butterflies and bees are imperiled.

Instead of wringing our hands, we can make a real difference by creating native habitat in our own yards. This presentation will help you learn how you can create a butterfly-friendly native garden.

The public is welcome and encouraged to attend this free North Oakland Wild Ones event. Donations are always welcome to help bring future educational opportunities! A printable flyer is available for distribution here. Doors open at 7, and the presentation starts at 7:30.
